There’s always something happening around the property.
Some days we’re repairing machinery in the workshop. Other days we’re fixing fences, grading tracks, clearing timber, building something new or simply jumping in the buggy to check on things before sunset.
Life on a country property is never really finished. Every season brings new jobs, new ideas and new challenges. One project rolls into the next, and that’s part of what makes this lifestyle so rewarding.
But it’s not all work.
This is also where the dogs run free, where the grandchildren discover nature, where sunsets stop you in your tracks and where a simple afternoon drive can become an adventure. It’s where we slow down, breathe a little deeper and remember why we chose this life.
You’ll find old machinery with stories to tell, workshop projects, property improvements, wildlife encounters, equipment reviews, family adventures and plenty of everyday moments that don’t always make the highlight reel—but often become the memories we treasure most.
Some projects will take an afternoon.
Others will take years.
You’ll see our successes, our mistakes, the jobs that didn’t quite go to plan, and hopefully pick up a few ideas and laughs along the way.
Whether you’re living on acreage, dreaming of moving to the country, or simply enjoy seeing a different way of life, I hope this section gives you a glimpse into the reality of country living.
So pull up a chair, grab a cuppa, and come for a wander around the property.
You never quite know what we’ll be up to next.
