Henry’s World™ #002 – Bath Time for Henry

Henry is at it again …

Sometimes living in the country means strange smells become part of daily life …

But every now and then…
even country people have limits 😂

Henry had spent the last few days proudly carrying around old rotten bones like treasured prizes.

The problem was:
he also smelled exactly like them.

Not that Henry cared.

In fact, he thought he smelled magnificent.

He wandered around the yard with his tail curled proudly over his back while flies followed him around like tiny personal bodyguards.

Mum noticed first.

Then Dad.

Then Uncle Ben.

The look on their faces said it all.

Bath time had officially arrived.

🧼 The Betrayal

Henry was absolutely not impressed about being placed into a tub full of soap bubbles.

His expression said:

“I thought we were a family.”

Meanwhile Mum scrubbed away while Henry sat there looking deeply offended by the entire experience.

⚡ The Zoomies Begin

The second Mum reached for the towel…

Henry exploded out of the bath like a furry rocket.

Water sprayed everywhere.

Mum threw her arms up trying to protect herself from the tidal wave while Henry hit full speed across the yard.

And that’s when the real chaos started.

🐾 Absolute Country Madness

Henry zoomed past Dad on the verandah.

Past the dogs.

Around the pool table.

Onto the rebounder trampoline.

Then accidentally launched himself directly onto the cattle dog.

At this point nobody really knew what was happening anymore.

Not even Henry.

🛻 Full Speed Through The Shed

Still running at maximum speed, Henry raced toward the shed where Uncle Ben was working.

Unable to stop, he launched into the parked buggy, scrambled straight through it, burst out the other side and kept going.

Uncle Ben simply stared in confusion like:

“What is going on?”

🌱 Peace At Last

Eventually the zoomies began to slow down.

Henry ran back toward the house where Mum gave him one final stern:

“HENRY!”

Naturally, Henry ignored her completely and threw himself upside down into the dirt for one last glorious back scratch.

Legs in the air.
Big grin on his face.
Freshly cleaned… and immediately dirty again.

Mission accomplished.
